Heart of England Recorder Orchestra
An expanding group of enthusiastic and experienced players of all ages meeting in Conductor Colin Touchin We play all kinds of music – renaissance, baroque, classical & modern, original recorder music and arrangements, on all sizes of recorder – sopranino, descant, treble, tenor, bass, great bass & contrabass. A recent award from the Lottery Fund means we now have 2 new great basses and a contra bass for the use of our members.
Monthly rehearsals are on Sundays* from 2pm to 5.30 pm at :
St James' Styvechale Church Hall,

Apologies are expected in advance if you are unable to attend a rehearsal.
Attendance is required at one of the last two rehearsals prior to a concert - the rehearsal on the concert day being compulsory.
If you are not available for a concert please make it known as early as possible.
